Upcoming Steelhead Season

Is anyone know of a good spot along the Elk Creek where it is not so crowded to fish for steelheads?

Bottom line pete is that the farther you walk from the parking lot or road, the less crowded it will be.

I don't know to much about walnut but i know before the high water came, there was alot of steelies were in 16mile creek. under the bridges. I was there a few times during that real cold spell that we had couple of weeks ago. And there was just 3 of us all day. And we caught couple of fish.
