| Here's an easy and cheap way to protect your reels from dust and dirt. If you (or a friend or neighbor) receives the daily newspaper, save a few of the long narrow plastic bags the paper is delivered in. Slip them on your rod handle and over the reel and secure the open end to your rod with a twist tie. I punch the rod handle through the end of the bag to provide a little "breathing" space to prevent condensation buildup. |
