Last Friday while fishing for sunfish for flathead bait with my 5/6 weight fly rod, I hooked a 6 pound channel cat using a small red wet fly with a small piece of squid tentacle as a hook dressing. WOW! great fun on light tackle. Took about 10 minutes to boat it.
